Established in 1989, Orlando School of Cultural Dance has been training students from age 3 thru adult. We offer a full scale dance program, an after School Cultural Enrichment program, full day summer dance and recreation camp, an African dance and drum performing company, Barefoot Ballet Dance Ensemble. OSCD has also become a center for a variety of cultural dance classes. The proud sponsors of the FLORIDA CULTURAL DANCE FESTIVAL AND THE ANNUAL CULTURAL DANCE EXTRAVAGANZA.

How long have you been in business?
OSCD was estabilshed in 1989. We are celebrating our nearly 20 years in this business.
What is your primary product or service?
Dancing instruction to both children and adults.
Our foundation relies on generous donations in order to scholarship underserved children and give them access to the arts.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As Founder and Director, I have more than 30 years experience in dance and business. Collectively, our staff has over 100 years of experience. My interest came as a result of the first hand knowledge of the effects of the arts in children. I love to inspire others. We have not only inspired the children, we have also inspired the parents and families.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our main dance style has historical and cultural approach.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Currently I have one location and have definite plans for expanding the school to several locations.
