How long have you been in business?
We have been in business since January 1976
What is your primary product or service?
Our primary products are Oil Spill Containment and Turbidity Barriers. Although we offer a variety of other sorbent products as well.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My father discovered it was a product which was necessary to help protect our environment, so thru research and lots of hard work, he started the company. I took over the business when my father passed away, and was able to do so by working in the business for several years.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We stand by our products manufacturing. If it breaks, or malfunctions, due to our negligence, then we replace the product at no cost to our customer.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Have only had the one location here in Brevard County, although we do ship our products all over the United States as well as some foreign countries.
Provide detailed directions to your location
We are located directly off A1A in Cape Canaveral. Take the BeachLine (SR528) East (from I95 it is exit 205), it will automatically turn into A1A (certain parts it's called Astronaut Blvd., then further down it becomes N. Atlantic Ave., once it becomes A1A, you will come upon a RaceTrac Service Station on the right hand side, we are 1.5 miles South (or three traffic lights) of that. (Two regular traffic lights, a flashing light, then the third light (Shell gas station will be on the corner on the left) , take a right, our building is on the left hand side of Center Street)
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, and most credit cards(we do not accept American Express).
Which areas do you service?
We will ship our products anywhere our customers needs them to be shipped.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
The daily operations is ran by Patrick M. Rooney and Nick Naayers
What are your hours of operation?
The shop is here from 7:15a till 4:00p and the office is open from 8:00a till 5:00p
